I am planning my first cruise for next April and I?m wondering if it?s cheaper/better to book through the cruise website or travel agent. Thanks!

Since this is your first I?d advise you to use a travel agent as they will be able to answer the hundreds of questions you are going to have.
Such as ? what deck you want your cabin to be on,
transportation between the airport & the Port or where a vehicle you drove to the port can be parked.
What excursions are worth pre-arranging.
Just whole bunches of topics a good travel agent can advise you on.
