PLAN AN EVENT FOR MEMPHIS MEANS MUSIC MONTH 2012

Memphis, TN ? The Memphis Music Foundation is pleased to announce the annual Memphis Means Music Month. Scheduled for October, the Foundation invites local businesses, schools, churches, restaurants, and retail shops to participate in the city wide celebration by planning special music related activities. Memphis Means Music Month promotes community spirit by bringing diverse segments of the city together to celebrate Memphis as a cultural capital and encourages discussion of the role music plays in Memphis?s economic development. The month is both a tribute to Memphis?s musical legacy and a wonderful opportunity to showcase Memphis?s current contemporary musical talent.

About the Memphis Music Foundation
