A man has been found dead at the Glastonbury Festival.

The body of the man, thought to be in his 50s, was found at about 0900 BST at the music event at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

The BBC understands that the body was found in a portable toilet in a restricted access area between the Pyramid Stage and the other stages.

Avon and Somerset Police cordoned off the area after the body was found on Sunday.

The cordon was put up around the backstage shower and toilet area, and a camping area where production teams and some performers stay was also blocked off.

More than 137,000 people are thought to be attending the festival, which ends on Sunday.
